Type Plugin
This new plugin was made to simplify the distribution and the installation of new software updates for all our main extensions: VikAppointments, VikBooking, VikEvents, VikRentCar, VikRentItems and VikRestaurants.
The plugin Vik Updater can be installed as a standard Joomla extension by uploading its installation package file. The plugin will be activated automatically upon the installation. This means that you don't need to head to the Plugins section of your Joomla to manually activate VikUpdater.
From the configuration of the plugin you are able to choose the frequency with which VikUpdater will look for new updates (daily by default).
Whenever VikUpdater finds a new available update, it will be reported within the main menu of the program that needs to be updated.
