VikAppointments supports one-way syncing with any ICS calendar, such as GoogleApple iCal or Outlook.

One-way sync means that all the reservations stored within VikAppointments will automatically be imported within all the subscribed calendars. Within the Global Configuration of VikAppointments, it is possible to find a Sync URL that can be used to subscribe your calendars to the software. The calendars will periodically refresh the events by contacting the Sync URL provided by VikAppointments. New events will automatically be added, changed events will be updated and removed events will be no more available in your calendars.

However, VikAppointments will not sync with such external calendars. For example, if you create an event from your Google Calendar, this won't be listed in VikAppointments. For further details about a 2-way synchronization, please refer to the related ICS Import article.

Google Note: the synchronization with Google Calendar is not immediate because the refresh of the events is made with intervals of 20 hours.

Outlook Note: this type of calendar doesn't support DST (daylight saving time) due to the usage of non-standard ICS notations. For this reason, in a period of the year, the checkin of all the events might be shifted by 1 hour behind or ahead. For developers only, here is an hack that can be used to support DST also with Outlook:

his issue doesn't seem to occur anymore since VikAppointments 1.2. This because the ICS generated by VikAppointments now uses UTC dates and times. This way it's up to Outlook to convert them into the timezone chosen from the configuration.
