Module Setup

Before all you have to install the Employees Locations module by uploading the package mod_vikappointments_employees_locations from the back-end through Extensions > Manage > Install.

After the installation, Joomla will automatically create a new VikAppointments Employees Locations module, which you have to edit to change the settings, the status, the template position and the menu assignments.

The custom settings of the module are the followings:

• Load jQuery - usually all the pages where you want to publish your module already load jQuery framework. In this case this parameter must be disabled, otherwise a jQuery conflict could occur.
• Menu Item - here you can specify a menu item to follow, so that when you will open the details of an employee, it will be used the selected menu item.

The settings of the module are the followings:

• Map Height - the height of Google Maps box. You have to specify px or % after the number (i.e. 320px or 30%).
• Enable Geolocation - pick the Always value if you want to show the location of the customer inside the map. The customers will be asked to allow the browser to retrieve their position through an apposite dialog. This feature is available only if the website owns an active SSL certificate.
