What's IPInfo plugin for?

The IP Info Handler plugin is used by VikSecure to retrieve the information of an IP Address (such as the country code). In order to obtain this kind of information, the plugin uses a dedicated service provided by https://ipinfo.io. This provider allows up to 1000 connections per day, that should be enough for the VikSecure's purposes.

By disabling this plugin, VikSecure will be NO MORE able to obtain the country code of a known IP address and you will never know from which country the users come from.

The Allowed Countries feature works thanks to this plugin. Every time you see a flag next to an IP Address means that this plugin has been queried to obtain the country code.

It is possible to access the settings of this module from Extensions > Plugins, by searching for "IP Info".
