VikRestaurants 1.8.2 Release

VikRestaurants 1.8.2 is now available.
This version contains some new features, several enhancements and a few bug fixes.

What's in 1.8.2?

Here is a list of what this new version brings.

New Features

• Added a feature to support the quantity selection for certain toppings (e.g. useful for Sushi Poke creation).
• Introduced a tool that can be used to test the special days configuration.
• It is now possible to restrict the delivery areas to be applied on specific days only.
• Added support for a new delivery area type to accept only the specified cities.
• Implemented a setting to limit the maximum number of orders that can be received on each interval.

Improvements

• The take-away products now support the selection of multiple images.
• Added support for a descriptive label to be used during the selection of the toppings.
• It is now possible to assign a take-away order to a specific operator.
• The toppings description is now available also within the take-away item details page.
• The ReCAPTCHA is now available also within the confirmation pages (if globally enabled).

Bug Fixes

• The selected toppings are now shown in the correct language within the confirmation page.
• Unpublished toppings are no more displayed within the front-end.
• Fixed an issue that could occur while validating the e-mail and the phone number on certain mobile devices.
• When checking the availability of a table from the Operators Area, the system now applies the specified stay time.

Got Errors During the Update?

If the update process gave you some errors, then it may be possible that your current installation or account are not allowed to install the new version of VikRestaurants for free. This may be due to 2 different factors:

• the domain from which you are requesting the update is not registered;
• your support license expired.

In case you are sure that your website is properly registered on our system, then you may have to purchase another copy of VikRestaurants in order to extend your support license by another year. Click HERE if you wish to go ahead with the purchase.
