I have a problem with the menu. When the menu has sub-menu (every button opens a list), the list opening is hiding behind the slider images (I can see the opened submenu when one image fades away and another comes in)...
Why is that?!? How can I fix this..?!?

It's very strange, I write you a private message.

Thank you very much for your promt answers... One more question: can I have a picture (JPG) as a background for the "Vehivles" template?!?!?!
Staff E4j 3-12-13 09:17
Yes but you need to modify the css file in your template, I explain you how:
go to this path:
templates/e4jvehicles/css/

- if you choose the black/orange (default) variations colours of the template, you need to open style.css file and change the jpg name to line 4:
body{
background:#444 url(../images/black.jpg);
}

- if you choose the white/grey colors variations colours of the template, you need to open style_white.css file and change the jpg name to line 4:
body{
background:#444 url(../images/white.jpg);
}

- if you choose the blu template variations colours of the template, you need to open style_white.css file and change the jpg name to line 4:
body{
background:#444 url(../images/blu-2.jpg);
}

- if you choose the white/blu template variations colours of the template, you need to open style_white.css file and change the jpg name to line 4:
body{
background:#444 url(../images/white.jpg);
}

Kind regards.

(remember to upload the new image to the images folder in the template path)

I have the same problem (also localhost development)> all the photos of my slider stacked on after the other with nothing sliding...

In your reply from 3-11-13 you say: "Please check your inbox for more details." <- That's not helping any1 who has the same problem.

What is the solution for this?
Staff E4j 7-25-14 09:55
Hello, this is a jQuery conflict, you have to disable the Load jQuery parameter from the slider module and mod_vikrentcar_search.

Best Regards

Is there a data package for the template that includes the demo layout (pictures and articles) so I can have it ready the way it looks in your demo site and save some time by only applying changes?!??!?!

Hi, I just purchase VIK Template Vehicles and VIK Rent-a-car componant. When I deploy my website, in module manager I found two modules that comming from VIK.
mod_vikrentcar_cars and vikrentcar_cars : I guess that the second one is the calendar that you add in the art-rigth-slider. But when I publish it, my joomla site doesn't display anything : White page... What going wrong ?
(Of course I previously installed VIK slider)

My second question is, Why mod_vikrentcar_cars (that I put in subcontent position) show me a list in vertical mode and not horizontally ?

When I publish the vikslider into img-slider nothing is showing up.
When publish in another module, i cannot get it on top under the menu as the demo.
Also "right position" is not indicated.

Hi,
to published the vikslider module under the menu you need to publish this in the "slider" position.
The img-slider is only for the mobile visualization.

Kind regards.

i purchased the rent a car template on 03/01
Got it up and running on joomla 1.5.
How to edit this template, the Q and A on your site was not helpful for me?
Is there a step by step or any manual.
Now published on www.cheap-carrental-crete.com

Hello,

Unfortunately we don't have a step by step manual for the template. You only need to publish the Joomla modules in the right positions and this page will help you finding the positions.

I must be doing something wrong. I uploaded and installed the rent a car template in Joomla 2.5, using the extension manager. I also selected the template as the default. I have the JCK Editor. Question: How do I get the template to display in the editor so I can modify the sections of the template with my own data?

Hello,

The template Rent a Car is a Front-End Template and only the native Joomla Component for managing Articles lets you modify contents from the front end, you just need to be logged in and have the permissions for editing articles.
That is the only case when the template Rent a Car shows your default editor. Maybe i'm not understanding what you mean.

Check your inbox for further information.

The jQuery UI Calendar is a feature of the version 1.5 of VikRentCar. There's a setting in the configuration of the component that lets you choose the calendar type.
Check your inbox for further information, I just sent you a private message.

Hello,

You need to create a logo with a customized HTML module and publish it in the position Logo of the template.

The Menu needs to be published in the position Mainmenu and the VikRentCar module goes in the position Vikrentcar-slider.

If you want to have a slideshow behind the vikrentcar module you can use VikSlider, you can find it in our Extensions Page.

Please take a look at the template positions:

Kind Regards

Hello,

You can't translate "View Details" with FaLang. That is still a definition in the .ini file.

FaLang translates contents that you create with VikRentCar, the name of a car for example.
Every text or name that you create from the Administrator in VikRentCar is translatable with FaLang. The words are definitions contained in the .ini language file that Joomla uses.
