The Names, the Descriptions, the Titles and other contents created from the Administrator section of the popular Extensions of e4j are considered Content Elements. These contents are saved in the database and they cannot be translated with definitions contained in the .ini language file, a third party component is needed in case we want to translate names, descriptions and other contents of our items in our multi-language website.

For example, if we want the users that are seeing the website in Spanish to see "Double Room" translated into "Habitación Doble" we need to use a third party component that supports XML Content Elements instruction files.

All the popular extensions of e4j come with the Content Elements XML Files for the components JoomFish! and FaLang. These two components can translate contents stored in the database into all the languages available, they just need some XML files containing the structure of the tables to translate.
In case we have problems installing the Content Elements inside FaLang, we need to extract the Zip File contained in the full package of the e4j Extension and upload manually via FTP all the XML Files into the folder /administrator/components/com_falang/contentelements/
We are now able to translate the contents created with the e4j Extension.

JoomFish does not exist for Joomla 2.5 while FaLang works from Joomla 2.5 on.

If you want to purchase a non-free version of Falang, you can use the following coupon code to get a 20% off.
